2) defeat any attempts to introduce legalized gambling into the State of Hawaii.

Problem Gambling Resources
The Hawaii Coalition Against Legalized Gambling has extensive reference materials, such as research articles, statistics, and news briefs. We also have several DVDs on gambling available, including one on gambling issues on Hawaii and another on the effects of problem gambling on women and families. To locate reference materials and/or arrange a DVD showing for your organization, please call the HCALG office at 808-595-7766.
Legislative Information
The mission of Hawaii’s Public Access Room (http://hawaii.gov/lrb/par/) is to provide information on how the citizens of Hawaii can enhance their ability to participate in the legislative process. This includes newsletters and other documents on how to track bills, timetables, reference charts, and other valuable materials. They also provide services, such as making free copies of your testimony, and computer, office supplies, and workspace in which you may prepare your testimony.
